Project Overview
The National University of Singapore, School of Computing seeks an easy-to-use portal to simplify content management and publication. To meet this need, Websparks has selected Directus as the chosen content management system (CMS).
Directus Data Studio provides an intuitive, user-friendly interface, allowing content creators and editors to manage and publish updates with ease, without requiring extensive technical expertise. Additionally, Directus provides flexible permission and roles system, which lets administrators control who can view, edit, and publish content. This ensures that the right people have access to the right features, making content management secure and streamlined.
Websparks has collaborated closely with the NUS IT department to install and host the Directus instance and containerize the Next.js frontend application. This approach streamlines deployment and ensures the system is both scalable and portable. Additionally, Tailwind CSS will be used for the frontend design, creating a modern, responsive layout that aligns with NUS's corporate design. This combination of technologies guarantees a fast, reliable, and visually appealing platform that meets the university’s needs for efficient content management and consistent presentation across various digital channels.
