Benny Michaels

Benny is a seasoned software engineer who brings a unique blend of skills and experiences to Directus. As well being a self-taught engineer, he also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Marketing and originally began his career as a Telecommunications Trainee during the NBN rollout in Australia. Benny's journey led him from consulting with small to medium businesses, to contributing to medical technology startups, and government lotteries.

Looking ahead, Benny is eager to embrace the digital nomad lifestyle while continuing to contribute remotely to Directus' success. With extensive coding experience dating back to the days of FrontPage and a host of unique skills like fire breathing, he adds a multifaceted perspective to the Directus team.
