Alvaro Saburido Rodriguez

Alvaro is a Senior Software Engineer with a deep background in UX, design and creative programming. Author of TresJS, an open-source to build interactive 3D experiences in Vue.

Before joining Directus, Alvaro led the whole open-source ecosystem at a CMS-based product company, with SDKs for all major frameworks. Earlier roles include DevRel, founding member of Porsche Digital, Tech Lead and other technical leadership positions.

He is a Telecommunications Engineer from the University Andrés Bello in Venezuela, between his passions you can find photography, videography, 3D modeling, videogames and creating content, anything with the "creative" tag attached to it.
