About the Role

As a Technical Support Engineer at Directus, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional support to our Enterprise Customers. You will be the first line of contact for users seeking assistance with installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and general usage of the Directus platform.

What You'll Do

  • Provide timely and accurate technical support to users via email, chat, and ticketing systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to Directus installation, configuration, and usage.
  • Research and provide clear, concise, and actionable solutions to user problems.
  • Document technical knowledge and solutions in a comprehensive knowledge base.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Directus knowledge base and support processes.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and features within the Directus platform.
  • Collaborate effectively with the development team to identify and resolve bugs or feature requests.
  • Foster a positive and helpful environment for the Directus community.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a technical support engineer or similar role, preferably within the software industry.
  • Basic understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
  • Experience with troubleshooting technical issues and providing clear solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A passion for open-source software and a strong desire to help others.
  • Experience with Docker and containerization technologies is a plus.
