Over the last week, we've announced lots of new features and enhancements to Directus. In case you missed it, here's a roundup of what we unveiled:
1. Version: Content Versioning Is Now Available
The launch of Content Versioning in Directus 10.7 is a huge improvement to the Directus Editor. Once enabled on a collection, any item can have versions created - each having its own revision history. Wait until you're happy with the state of an update to promote a version to be the main one, and publish new content to users.

2. Compose: Long Live The Operating System
On day two of Leap Week, we covered our take on composable architecture and how providing a strong foundational toolkit allows teams to both move fast while scratching their "builder itch". We released AgencyOS as the first example of an all-in system purpose-built to show off some of the incredible functionality that you can build with Directus, and truly take a composable approach to architecture.

3. Customize: A New Theming Engine
With the release of Directus 10.7, we are introducing a new theming engine with a dedicated section within the Data Studio settings. This new feature isn’t just about more theming options, it’s a commitment from us. It’s a promise that our core team will handle the mapping between these theming options and the markup whenever it changes. In the background, a themes file is created, which we plan to turn into a new extension type in the future.

4. Visualize: Dozens of Directus Insights Improvements
Directus 10.7 includes loads of updates to Directus Insights focused on quality of life, customizability, and helping you better analyze your data. Right from setting up your dashboards, new styling and formatting options, and a brand new panel type, there's lots to appreciate.
5. Extend: Meet Our Secure Extensions Framework
Laying the groundwork for a future extensions marketplace, the Secure Extensions Framework introduces a sandboxed environment for extensions with a tight permissions system that limits access to external requests and access to your data.

And To Our Community
We want to also say thank you to you – our wonderful community. Our CEO and Co-Founder Ben also took some time over Leap Week to reflect on where we've been, where we are, and where we're going.
Because of your enthusiasm we have over 23,000 GitHub stars, 350 contributors, and 20,000 threads across issues, pull requests, and discussions. There's over 10,000 of you taking part on our Discord server, taking part in our hackathons, and guest authoring on our developer blog.
We also announced three new regional user groups with regular meetups - bringing the total to six in New York City, London, Berlin, and now San Francisco, Paris, and Amsterdam.
And that wraps the first Directus Leap Week. Thank you for being part of it, and we look forward to bringing it back next time.
