Community is a huge part of the Directus story, and this year we've reached the point to bring us together not just digitally, but in-person. Today, we are thrilled to announce the expansion of our regional User Groups to three more cities: San Francisco, Amsterdam, and Paris! These additions come on the heels of our successful user group launches in New York City, London, and Berlin earlier this year.
Each of our User Groups meet every few months to share their projects, learn from each other, and network with those in and around their cities. We also have plans to run hackathons and workshops in cities where we have User Groups next year!
Visit the Directus Events page to join each of our regional user groups and also check out our online events.
Run Your Own User Group
We also want to invite you to set up your own User Groups - we'll support you with advice, swag, and funding for food and drinks. Our team has some very experienced event organizers and community managers and we would love to use this as a chance to share those skills with you!
If this is something you are interested in, join our Discord community and let us know.
Our Community Is The Best
At today's Leap Week event, our CEO and Co-Founder Ben took some time to talk about our amazing community and how it shines brighter than many others. He spoke not only about User Groups, but also our GitHub and Discord spaces, our Guest Author program and our Hackathons.
