As a Sales Engineer at Directus, you will apply your product and technical expertise to assist prospective Enterprise customers as they evaluate Directus as a solution for their organization. Working closely with the Sales Manager, you will qualify leads, speak to our platform's capabilities, and advise decision-makers on how Directus can be used to support their business needs.
You will build a lead generation pipeline from both inbound and outbound leads to meet and exceed our sales targets, and pursue new revenue opportunities from new and existing Enterprise customers.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of SaaS Sales and/or Solution Engineering experience
- Grasp the fundamentals of database design, API architecture, and data visualization
- Ability to distill complex technical concepts into simple, intuitive communication
- Excellent English communications skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable presenting to decision-makers independently, as well as alongside our Sales Manager
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced startup environment
- Ability to manage project expectations and timeliness
